Ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone.Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position:As a Kaiāwhina at Te Kura you will work directly with at risk ākonga and young adults aged 16-19 individually and in small groups to motivate, encourage and support them to engage in learning activities and to support their hauora | wellbeing.You will work in collaboration with others to improve outcomes for ākonga and young adults. Supporting them to re-engage in their learning, and/or to successfully transition on to further education, training or employment.You will engage with our ākonga face-to-face at huinga ako (advisories) and events and work onsite with colleagues in our regional offices and learning hub once established.Ko koe tēnei | About you:We are looking for people with excellent interpersonal skills and an inclusive approach, able to quickly build rapport and trust with ākonga.
