WHAT'S IN IT FOR MEAt Ventia, we're proud to manage council assets including parks, libraries, and public pools in the Orakei/Maungakiekie/Tamaki areas.We contract with Auckland Council for street cleaning services such as collecting litter, road sweeping, removing graffiti, water blasting, pavement cleaning, and more!ABOUT THE ROLEWe're looking for an energetic and hardworking team leader to join our Auckland Council General Services team to ensure that our client's property portfolio is maintained to a high level.The successful candidates will be responsible for leading our key members who look after vegetation, clear tracks and drains, supervise leaf blowers, carry out digging, and other minor repairs around tracks, reserves, parks, and beaches.You need to ensure that our team makes it to work and does quality work in keeping the town and outer public areas clean.The team leader needs to demonstrate commitment to safety, health, environment, and quality standards.This role is permanent, full-time, 5 days a week. Shift will be from 6 am to 2.30 pmABOUT YOUYou will be energetic, and motivated and have a genuine belief in excellent customer service with a "can do" attitude as well as be able to work independently and safely.It is preferable that you hold a Class 1 driver's license (Class 2 an advantage) plus experience with basic carpentry, and pavement repair and you must be willing and able to drive either a van or box cage small truck.It is also a must that you can use mobile devices, are computer literate, and have experience working as a Public Facility Cleaner or Mobile Orderly.WHAT WE OFFER
