Our team delivers a managed payroll service to a diverse range of clients, exposing you to various businesses and company payrolls. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professionals at all experience levels to cultivate robust technical skills, grow with our business, and benefit from the guidance of an experienced team.What will your typical week look like?Depending on your level of experience you would:
  • Manage the expectations of relevant stakeholders around the completion of these tasks and develop the technical knowledge within the Payroll Team to ensure internal and client service standards are met
  • Backup and technical support to the Payroll Manager, including covering pays, processing taxation, KiwiSaver and relevant pay run reports or reconciliations
  • Provide technical payroll knowledge/around legislation and software packages and providing training and mentoring to team members
  • Assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll, including PAYE obligations and filing the returns
  • Manage payroll-related queries, internal and external reporting and engage with the wider business
  • Be involved in various projects and payroll related work that arise from time to time

  • Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as you will have direct exposure to clients
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Experience using payroll systems is preferable, but not necessary
