You will lead and influence people to do good work every day.Operational ‘getting stuff done’
  • Promote, lead and support the safety culture of the company
  • Take responsibility for HSQTE within the company to ensure compliance with the company health and safety policy
  • Assist with the development, updating and maintenance and implementation of the living safely manual to ensure compliance with H&S legislation, regulations and standards, and codes of practice
  • Ensure the systems in the manual are implemented and complied with throughout the company
  • Provide advice, guidance, support and training to management and staff at all levels in relation to health and safety
  • Assist management to comply with the company quality policy
  • Manage the procedures and requirements of the company environmental policy
  • You’ll also contribute in any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications I need to be successful
  • Must have formal health and safety qualification, or working towards one
  • Management experience and proven experience in leading a successful team
  • Minimum 5 years experience in roading, civil or construction industries
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role
