- Promote, lead and support the safety culture of the company
- Take responsibility for HSQTE within the company to ensure compliance with the company health and safety policy
- Assist with the development, updating and maintenance and implementation of the living safely manual to ensure compliance with H&S legislation, regulations and standards, and codes of practice
- Ensure the systems in the manual are implemented and complied with throughout the company
- Provide advice, guidance, support and training to management and staff at all levels in relation to health and safety
- Assist management to comply with the company quality policy
- Manage the procedures and requirements of the company environmental policy
- You’ll also contribute in any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested
- Must have formal health and safety qualification, or working towards one
- Management experience and proven experience in leading a successful team
- Minimum 5 years experience in roading, civil or construction industries
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role
