We are looking for a skilled Test Technician who is passionate about ensuring electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.The role:
As a Test Technician you will be a part of our dynamic team and become an integral part of a leading company in the electrical industry. This role requires frequent travel to our branches in North Island. You will also be responsible for:- Conducting thorough and accurate testing of electrical installations, appliances, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Performing inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting to identify potential hazards or issues
- Generate reports detailing test results, recommendations, and any necessary repairs or improvements
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and colleagues to provide exceptional service and supportWhat's in it for you

To be successful in this role, you will have some or all below:
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, codes, and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Good problem-solving skill
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to learn new skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal clients and colleagues
- Clean full New Zealand driving license class 1
- EWRB Registered Electrician certification with current New Zealand registration and practicing license would be an advantage
- Have minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in testing and inspection will be beneficialAbout us
