- Work on a wide range of exciting projects that involve all aspects of infrastructure design from business case to construction.
- Managing multidiscipline project teams and sub consultants to deliver complex infrastructure projects in the transport, energy, land and/or water engineering sectors.
- Management and delivery of design packages for transport, energy, waste, water, commercial and environmental infrastructure projects. Implementing and carrying out project controls including financial tracking and earned value reporting, tracking progress of projects, risk management, contract management, compliance and quality management and the development of project specific processes and controls
- Delivery of projects in respect to quality, risk, programme, delivery and financial performance.
- Interfacing and coordinating outcomes from related disciplines such as geology, hydrology, structural, geotechnical engineering and contaminated land together
- Interfacing with key stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, facilitating workshops and also assisting client relationship building.
- Promoting the use of digital tools and sustainable practices within projects.
- Guidance and mentoring of junior team members
- Preferably a project management qualification, such as PMP, or be working towards one
- Proven experience in Project Delivery including managing multiple disciplines and teams of high performing people
- 5-10+ years industry experience in project management preferably in civil engineering/ energy/water/transport
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Preferred experience in a consulting environment - ideally design centric
- Proven report writing capability
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong project management and communication skills
