As a Procurement Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our Commercial team, contributing to the success of our procurement operations and helping us achieve our goals.What You'll Do:· Dive into the exciting world of procurement, assisting in sourcing, purchasing, and managing our dry, chilled and frozen goods.· Be the go-to person for maintaining accurate records and check, check and recheck the inwards goods paperwork.· Receipting of inward goods.· Work alongside our accounts team with invoices and documentation.· Flex your negotiation skills as you work with suppliers to get the best deals without compromising on quality.· Provide internal communication with all departments regarding inwards and outward stock availability.· Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and market conditions, always staying one step ahead.Skills & ExperienceWhat We're Looking For:· A proactive team player with a passion for procurement and a keen eye for detail.· Excellent communication skills both spoken and written and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.· A high level of self motivation and a can-do attitude.· Flexibility and willingness to learn and work throughout the business.· A good understanding of the local hospitality and tourism environment.· A knack for problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.· Strong computer and data entry skills· Previous sales, procurement or related experience in the food industry· A high level of self motivation and a can-do attitude.
