Job Description NOTE - WE ARE NOT ACCREDITED EMPLOYER CAN'T HELP WITH VISA, we are looking for a motivated herd manager with at least 3 years of NZ Dairy experience, must be NZ Resident or Citizen, must be self-motivated and punctual, the role will involve assisting with farm duties milking twice a day, pasture management, feeding out, farm maintenance, calf rearing, calving and treatments.
Honestly reliability and willingness to grow and learning are essential for this role. As it is one person shed after calving and mating which gives plenty of time to do other tasks out on Farm, you must have good communication skills and can step up and being able to take charge when Contract milker is away, must be able to ride 2 and 4-wheeler. you must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and have full driving licence. Farm is just 10 min from Temuka,30 min to Timaru and 45 mins from Ashburton. we milk 500 cows through 38 ASHB Inshed feed with auto cup remover with auto drafting gate.
