As a supervisor you will oversee shipping and logistics teams and activities for the facilities. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities within a warehouse to work together seamlessly and
efficiently. This role owns receiving and shipping orders, reviewing logistics, leading the relevant operational teams, working with the administration/planning teams, ensuring warehouse equipment
is maintained and the highest safety standards are maintained.
You will be required to work 6am to 6pm on a 4 day on 4 day off roster.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the department
Manage work schedules and absence expectations
Issue written and verbal instructions to the team
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures
Train, mentor, and provide ongoing guidance to team members
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to streamline processes
Maintain accurate inventory records

Requirements:

Experience in Warehouse Systems and Warehouse Supervision
Previous experience within a cold store environment advantageous
Familiarity with MPI requirements for primary industries an advantage
Ability to lead, direct, and motivate a diverse team
Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping procedures
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
