Milking peak 470 crossbreed cows averaging 450-460 for the season on 180ha effective flat to rolling main block and a 30ha effective runoff through a 44ashb with auto cup removers and protrack. Calving starting on the 1st of July ending approximately 10 September. Opportunity for partner to relief milk.KEY RESPONSIBLITIES;
Be able to follow health and safety policies.
Follow instructions and complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
Quick learner, great listener.
Be confident on a 2 wheeler and ATV.
Have some experience in a tractor.
Have excellent health and husbandry knowledge - identify mastitis, lameness, metabolic, sick animals.
Handle stock in a safe, quiet and calm manner.
Have experience in weed management
Be able to work as a team or individually.
