The role is 40 routine hours per week plus contribution to the acute on-call roster.About youSkills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o WaitangiVocational Registration in General Surgery and have sub-speciality training in Oncoplastic Breast SurgeryConfident in managing a range of conditions associated with doing on call General Surgery in a large hospitalTrack record of excellence in communication and collaboration with colleagues both within and outside the departmentCurrent APC and current membership with a medical indemnifierAbout our ServiceThe successful candidate will join a dynamic and high functioning department providing secondary services to the Waikato population, and a number of tertiary services to the entire midland Te Manawa Taki region.As a member of the General Surgery Team, this role has shared accountability for a population of over 900,000.
