- Day to day financial management, including processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, journal entries for prepayments, depreciation and accruals
- Monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations, end of month processes through to P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Invoicing clients and following up on overdue debtors
- Maintaining financial records in Xero and project financials, including management of consultant fees and recovery
- Payroll processing
- Reviewing GST/FBT/PAYE
- Cashflow forecasting
- Assisting with general administrative tasks
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant NZ accounts experience
- Strong Excel skills and systems experience including Xero.
- Experience with project management software such as Workflowmax or Projectworks is advantageous
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
