Our client is currently in the process of recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager, property finance for their commercial banking team. With average deals sizes of between $2m - $30m the focus is to identify the financial needs of their clients and provide appropriate solutions.The role:
  • Provide expert advice on banking products and services.
  • Analyse clients financial statements, cashflow projections and business plans to assess the credit and finance options.
  • Structure and negotiate credit facilities, including loans and lines of credit.
  • Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders such as credit risk, legal and operations to ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Monitor the performance of the client accounts.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities and promote banking products and services to both current and new clients.
  • Attend networking events and conferences to enhance market presence.
  • Maintain and develop new business development opportunities.
The Person:
  • Solid experience in commercial banking or corporate finance with a focus on relationship management and business development.
  • Strong credit skills and financial products and services knowledge including commercial loans, treasury management and trade finance.
  • Must be able to evaluate complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance or business administration
  • Enjoy operating in a results orientated sales environment.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
