- Provide technical leadership to the Aviation team and contribute towards delivery of quality project outcomes
- Coach and advise team members in project delivery activities and mentor team members to enhance their professional development
- Build GHD's profile and develop a sustainable work pipeline in accordance with the business plan
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with industry networks and clients
- Establish strong relationships with internal clients
- Identify and pursue strategic prospects (e.g. through business development and capture planning)
- Identify emerging markets, services and opportunities and develop strategies and positioning to secure work
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the Aviation / Airport Airside Infrastructure Engineering consultancy sector, with a proven record of leading technical delivery of Aviation projects
- Formal qualifications in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- Demonstration of a high level of commercial awareness, encompassing both internal and external forces
- Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written
- Team player, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge
