From occupational assessments to work-ready programmes - we are committed to helping our clients reach exceptional outcomes and are proud to make a difference by helping Kiwis to thrive every day.Alpha Consultants’ Vocational Consultants are the experts at occupational assessments and facilitating rehabilitation and back to work programmes; and their impeccable sourcing skills empower clients to access, gain and sustain employment, which has a powerful impact on them and their whanau.Responsibilities:
  • Building trust with your client, and a collaborative partnership with all stakeholders
  • Take ownership of a caseload of referred clients
  • Identifying the hurdles to achieving client’s employment goals. We collaborate to problem solve, plan and achieve safe and sustainable work and independence
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team and sharing your expertise with others
Day-to-day this might include:
  • Conducting assessments
  • Leading back to work services in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Coaching clients to make decisions on their futures
  • Building strong relationships with case managers, rehab providers, and employers
  • Educating clients on resume development, interview preparation and job searching
  • Sourcing training and opportunities for clients to upskill
  • Enabling placed clients to achieve sustained success in their work endeavours

What you need to have:
  • Clean and full driver’s license
  • A relevant tertirary qualification (e.g. Career Development, Psychology, HR)
  • Full Membership of CDANZ, ASORC or similar (or the ability to gain this)
  • 2 years supporting people in the career development space (desirable)
  • Computer literacy
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to change and pivot
