- Experience in Oil, Gas, and XPLE cable jointing
- Worked on 11kV - 33kV, with a preference for experience in 110kV up to 132kV
- Ability to carry out HV and LV cable jointing and terminating
- Valid NZ Driver’s License
- Experience as a cable jointer
- EWRB registration as a Cable Jointer is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures, and standards
- Commitment to health and safety
- Installation, replacement, and repair of underground distribution assets
- Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to 11kV
- Excavation and reinstatement of underground cable installation sites
- Routine inspections, fault finding, repair of overhead installations, underground cables, and instrument testing
- On-call roster for network maintenance
- Competitive remuneration based on experience ($32-$44 /hr + T x 1.5 after 40hours + Benefits)
