Job Description We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Farm Assistant to take the next step in their career. If you are keen on a long-term career in in dairy or dry stock farming and have a positive, can-do attitude, then we'd love to hear from you. Please note, you must have the right to permanently work in New Zealand. We are not accredited with Immigration NZ and therefore unable to support any visa applications.This role is quite unique, working between both our dairy farm and our nearby sheep and beef block. You will be on the milking roster, and your day work will usually be general farm work across both the dairy black and the dry stock block. You must be reliable, punctual and motivated with a full, clean drivers licence and an excellent work ethic! You must also consent to a pre-employment drug test, and random drug testing as required. There is potential to move up into to 2IC position as you progress with us, depending on your skills and experience.Ideally, you will be confident with farm machinery.In return, we offer training and development and really good working conditions. We are milking a 540 cow mixed herd through a new 60 bale rotary cow shed with cup removers.Our sheep and beef block 240ha, and runs both sheep, beef and dairy grazers.You must be a NZ citizen or resident to apply for this role, and be currently based in NZ.Also, please ensure you attach a cover letter, along with your current CV and details of at least two independent referees.
