As a casual support worker you will be supporting 6 residents in a housing and recovery service, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor residents.
- Prepare residents' homes for the next day
- Conducting welfare checks
- Budgeting and independent daily living skills
- Attending appointments and advocating for people.
- Medication support
- Work in a recovery focused way
Being a casual support worker, you will be filling in shifts as required, when permanent employees are on sick leave, annual leave etc.You will be reporting to the Team Coach.You | Mōu
- Hold a current full driver's licence
- Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or currently working towards it.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti Waitangi
