- Manage the New Zealand Red Cross client relationship for Territory accounts, while supporting the relationship for all National Accounts. Provide information, as requested, to assist the National Business Development Manager with business planning, including budgets, sales targets, call cycles etc.
- Work with the Team Leader Products to gain a full understanding of the products within your portfolio.
- Regularly monitor and track your own performance using information technology provided by the organisation, and reporting on a regular basis.
- Be aware that the sales teams are the front facing role for the organisation, and the responsibility that this brings to the role and behaviour.
- Participate in sales and product training as provided by the organisation and its vendors and suppliers.
- Make regular and planned sales calls on current and potential customers throughout the territory on a regular cycle, every customer engagement to be logged within the organisations CRM as described within the Client Contact Form.
- Meet and exceed the target sales call frequency as directed by the National Business Development Manager typically to achieve the following:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a face to face sales and/or key account manager role dealing with both products and services.
- Skills and experience in development and implementation of call cycles and prospecting.
- Ability to communicate clearly and resolve customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and proactively with the drive and resilience required to carry out cold calling.
- Strong computing skills; Microsoft Office suite, CRM and Internet, ability to learn to use New Zealand Red Cross applications.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
