Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleThere's lots happening on the digital front, and we need someone to help bring our strategies to life and share our stories across a variety of channels.This is a brand-new role where you will primarily support planning, implementation and evaluation of digital communications activities across Pathways and Real. Working alongside two senior communications advisors, you will also have the opportunity to support other communication activities and projects.We are looking for someone with a passion for social media and digital communications. You will be an excellent writer, adept at both creative and more formal writing, as well as digitally-savvy, capable of managing multiple social media and online platforms.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceYou will have at least two years experience working in a similar role. Your skills and experience could be wide ranging, but you will need to have:
  • A tertiary qualification in digital communications, marketing or a related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing/digital communication principles and channels, including brand management, media relations, advertising, digital marketing and internal communication.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, intranet (SharePoint) and website (WordPress) content management, SEO, MailChimp, Canva, social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram), media monitoring tools, and print, digital and social media production
  • Video content production experience is an advantage.
  • Having a good understanding of the mental health sector in Aotearoa would be advantageous, as would experience engaging with Māori, Pasifika, and/or young people.
This is a full-time role based in Salmond House, Vivian Street, Wellington. There is also an element of occasional nationwide travel in this role.Closing date | Rā Katinga: 24 May 2024.
