Our client, a highly regarded health services provider, is seeking a well-qualified and experienced psychiatrist to join their Adult Community Mental Health team in Blenheim, New Zealand. In this vital role, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering quality mental health services to the Blenheim community. Together with medical officers, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, social workers, and employment specialists, you'll have the opportunity to influence healthcare delivery while enjoying a balanced lifestyle in a sought-after region.Responsibilities
  • Provide quality psychiatric care to the Blenheim community.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Encourage health, well-being, and independence within the community.
  • Participate in the continuous development and improvement of services.
Requirements
  • Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, or equivalent.
  • Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational registration of Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • Experience in consult-liaison psychiatry would be advantageous.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work cohesively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.

  • Competitive remuneration package between NZD 200,000 - 350,000 per year based on previous experience and expertise.
