- Develop and implement strategic plans to attract and onboard new customers in the agricultural sector of New Zealand.
- Cultivate strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, providing guidance and support on how they can leverage Agworld's solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for external stakeholders and customers, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote and utilise Agworld's solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Support, and Product teams, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional service.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal teams to inform product development and enhancements.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and differentiation.
- Hold a formal qualification in agriculture, business, or a related field. Practical experience in the agricultural sector will be highly valued.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in business development or sales roles within the agricultural industry, showcasing industry awareness and knowledge of the Ag sector.
- Possess a strong understanding of the agricultural landscape in New Zealand, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Have hands-on experience in providing innovative solutions to customer needs, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and value creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adopt a results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives and driving customer success.
- Be capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes to benefit both the business and our users.
- Preference for familiarity with agricultural management software or technology solutions.
- This role offers a commission structure above the base salary allowing a level of self determination for remuneration.
- Work fully remotely, this role is available anywhere in New Zealand, with travel opportunities around New Zealand and to Australia.
