- Proven experience in a dispatch role planning and scheduling vehicles and drivers
- Previous experience supervising small teams
- In-depth knowledge of transport legislative and regulatory requirements, standards and policies
- Hold a full Class 1 and 2 driver's license with experience driving heavy vehicles
- Ability to work unsupervised

- NZ citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the past 5 years, OR

If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.Your responsibilities will include:Our local Fleet team provide driving/transporting services on behalf of our customer (NZ Defence Force), supporting in-region training and exercises. This covers troop movements into the training area and beyond, meal deliveries, freight and supply runs, VIP driving and on demand courier tasks and everything in-between.
As a Fleet Dispatcher Team Lead, you will be responsible for the daily tasking and supervision of our Fleet team based in Waiouru. Your well rounded knowledge and organisational skills will be put to good use as you ensure our schedules are delivered on time, meeting all legislative requirements and best practice standards. On occasions you will be required to step in and lend a hand driving and this could be outside normal work hours/weekends as the Waiouru Camp operates 24/7.
