Job Description A housekeeping position has become available in Taumarunui. Work is available for all days on a casual contract (due to fluctuations in booking numbers). Work generally starts at 9:30 am. A minimum of 1.5 hours work is guaranteed, but usually it is between 2 - 3 hours. Duties include cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, vacuuming, removing rubbish from rooms, cleaning windows, and keeping up the appearance of the motel. You will need to be physically fit and able to do the job. This includes being able work on your hands and knees to clean the shower and bathroom floor. Previous experience is not necessary as full training is provided. However a positive attitude is essential. The successful applicant will need to be reliable, have an eye for detail, and be able to work at a suitable pace.
