Then this is the role for you!We're after an energetic and experienced electrician to join our busy Ashburton team, responsible for servicing our customers' pivot, hard and soft hose irrigators, pumps and irrigation needs in the Mid/South Canterbury area. You'll be joining a company with over thirty years' experience in the design, construction and maintenance of irrigation systems, offering full service packages to farmers, horticulturalists and residential and commercial clients throughout New Zealand.There is potential for this role to be based out of either Ashburton or Timaru due to the continued amount of work in the Mid-Canterbury and South Canterbury areas.You'll need to be a positive and motivated electrician with a can do attitude, who is looking for a varied and challenging role as part of a dynamic and fun team. You must be a NZ Registered Electrician with a mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop new skills on the job. Experience in motor control and variable frequency drives is required, while experience working on a range of irrigators is desirable but not essential.Duties & Responsibilities include:

Sign off and monitor all electrical work to industry regulations and standards
Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing of domestic pumps, irrigation pumps, centre pivot and linear irrigators as well as a range of other irrigation equipment
The successful applicant from time to time will also help Operations to electrically commission our customers' pivot, pumps and irrigation requirements.
