Job Description We need (1) Farm Assistant to join our team for the 2024/2025 season. This is a full-time permanent role that requires you to work a minimum of 40 hours and a maximum of 50 hours per week.You are expected to assist the managers in the day-to-day management of the farm.You must be willing to be fully trained in all aspects of New Zealand dairy farming. You must be physically fit, with a clean full driving license, criminal, and drug checks to be considered for the role.No pets are allowed in the shared accommodation.As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you are expected to perform the following duties:
- milk harvesting
- maintaining the cleanliness of the sheds
- assisting in the operation and maintenance of the effluent system
- assisting in pasture management
- assisting in feeding stock
