- Collaborate closely within a large team to develop and maintain cutting-edge API solutions, ensuring seamless integration with various systems and applications.
- Utilise your expertise in .NET Core to build secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs adhering to industry best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement robust error handling, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms to ensure API security.
- Optimise API performance, caching strategies, and resource utilisation.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services as required.
- Knowledge of API documentation tools (e.g. Swagger, Postman) and containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker) would be a bonus.
- Work across multiple countries supporting an international business.
- Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality, innovative solutions.
- Studies in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong focus on API development.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in at least one backend language (Node.js, .NET Core, Python, Java).
- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and web services.
- Familiarity with API testing and debugging tools.
- Good working knowledge of SQL databases.
- As you will be communicating directly with clients, you will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
