YOUR Opportunity
With sustained growth across our New Zealand operations; we are seeking a Service Technician for the Auckland region.As a Service Technician you ensure customer's power infrastructure operates optimally, minimising downtime and maximising reliability. As this is a regional coverage position, you will need to feel equally capable working in a team, as you do working autonomously.The customers across the region cover a diverse range of Industries, and a diverse range of electro intensive products. Best-in-class, ongoing, product training is offered, as is responsive and skilled remote technical support.What YOU will do Day-To-Day
  • Preventive Maintenance: Routine inspections, testing and maintenance.
  • Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, coordinating with internal teams or external vendors, if necessary.
  • System Upgrades: Installation and Commissioning of new systems or upgrades to existing systems.
  • Customer Support: Technical support; offering guidance on operation and maintenance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Record service activities, including maintenance reports, repair logs, and inventory management.
  • Safety: Role model safe-working practices, including adherance to safety policies and procedures.
What YOU will need.... and we can teach the rest!
  • Ideally, proven experience in a similar position, and working for an OEM; however, those Industrial Electricians who have a real thirst and aptitude for learning, are welcome to apply
  • Electrical Trade Qualification and Licence (must be recognised in New Zealand)
  • A Customer-First mind-set
  • Experience/Knowledge of Schneider Electric products is great, but not essential
