Other services are currently supplied by visiting specialists, including ophthalmology. The hospital operates both Public & Private theatre sessions covering General Surgery, Anaesthetics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Endoscopy, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics, as well as ENT.Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa has traditionally had an outsourced ophthalmology service, however we would like to provide greater continuity of services for our community therefore wish to bring this service in house.
