Mercy Hospital, Epsom | Flexible FTE | 8 & 12 hour shifts | Great NEW pay rates | Free parkingSt Anne's is our busy and super interesting adult cardiothoracic surgical floor at Mercy Hospital in Epsom and consists of 3 clinical areas: a 13 bed Cardiothoracic Surgical Ward (CTU), a 6 bed ICU, and a 13 bed Cardiac Investigations Unit (CIU). This vacancy is for Cardiothoracic Surgical ward (CTU).In our Cardiothoracic Surgical ward (CTU) you'll care for pre and postoperative patients undergoing all types of cardiac and/or thoracic surgeries. You'll work alongside Auckland's top cardiac surgeons and a great team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. This is a busy and stimulating environment where you'll be joining a positive supportive team, led by our awesome Charge Nurse Manager, where open communication and respect is highly valued.About you - you'll need:

To be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC
At least 2 years current experience in a cardiothoracic surgical ward environment (not ICU)
Outstanding assessment and time management skills, confidence in your practice and the ability to think on your feet
To be available to work rostered shifts across a 24/7 service
Exceptional interpersonal skills and be a great teamworker
