Reporting to the Head of Quality and Food Safety, you will develop and maintain optimum food safety practices within Countdown Supermarkets and the wider Woolworths New Zealand organisation. As a Food Safety Partner, you will provide advice and guidance to our team through training and coaching. Working in a multi-site capacity, you will visit stores, and support initiatives to maintain and enhance our food control plan.Some of your responsibilities will be:
  • Ensuring food safety practices and processes are well understood and effectively implemented
  • Ensuring food safety risks are appropriately and effectively managed
  • Making sure store teams have sufficient support through tools, guidance and training
  • Managing effective relationships with regulators
  • Managing customer complaints, recalls and withdrawals, promptly and effectively.
  • Making sure business stakeholders are fully informed on issues and developments pertaining to Food Safety
About You | Mōu
What we are looking for:
  • Passion for food safety and delivering the best to our customers!
  • Recognised audit qualifications preferred
  • Skilled trainer and facilitator
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Google Suites is preferred
Ideally you will have experience in the monitoring of food safety practices, are tertiary qualified in a food related discipline, or have equivalent experience within the industry.Working with Countdown | Te Mahi ki Countdown
