We are utilizing the Halter collar system for cow and pasture management to good success. We are looking for a 2IC that has the practical skill to deal with a large farm on rolling terrain and the savvy to be able to utilize the tech provided in the shed and the collars to help improve the outcomes and lift the standard.Key skills required will be;
- Comfortable working with technology
- Sound pasture management
-Experience in all aspects of animal husbandry
-Good communication skills on all levels
-Good practical skills and problem solving ability
-Attention to detail
-Proven recording/reporting ability
-Irrigation experience
-Management of Health and SafetyApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
