About the RoleWe are looking for our next Outdoor Timber Specialist (Salesperson) to join our team, based at our Retail Store at 25 Wallacetown-Lorneville Highway, Invercargill.You'll greet customers with a smile and 'can do' attitude, talk to them either in person or over the phone, finding out their product needs to ensure they get the best value option for their project. We work as part here so being in the yard putting orders together, unloading/loading vehicles, using the forklift and putting product away will also be required.Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday (4 hours) is worked on a roster amongst the team.Skills and ExperienceWhile a background in either customer service, sales, yard work, or farming may be an advantage, as full training will be provided, it is more important that you are able to demonstrate:

Self-motivation and reliability.
Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
A friendly, energetic and positive personality.
Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices.
A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.

You will need a full driver's licence (or the ability to get soon) as you will be required to drive our vehicles and get your F licence endorsement once trained.What's in it for you?
