- Develop sales plans and coordinate marketing strategies with clients, in particular air-con specialists channel, within the context of overall corporate strategies.
- Actively participate and negotiate terms of nominated Samsung products in client buying meetings.
- Manage the relationship between the client and Samsung.
- Work with clients to increase sales revenue and market share.
- Plan and implement the distribution, promotion and display of designated products for defined accounts.
- Monitor and review sales revenue for clients ensuring targets are being met.
- Liaise with supply chain management team for stock forecast and strive to ensure stock availability
- Work with clients to increase sales revenue and market share.
- Service existing accounts and identifying and building new business opportunities within existing accounts, in close liaison with (customer) product managers and Samsung NZ marketing.
- Organising designated products etc, and attending trade functions, meetings, as required.
- Report competitor activity (including pricing movements and promotions) which may be of significance to Samsung NZ sales strategies, to Head of CE/IT Sales and Head of Marketing.
- Liaise with SOD and logistics to effectively expedite customer orders and requests.
- Adhere at all times to company policies and procedures in the completion of required duties.
- Drives analysis focus and compares pre and post promotional results, spend and ROI through disciplined use of analytics/measurement.
- Supports product training to drive superior execution
- Degree qualified preferable.
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience in air-conditioning industry
- Proven account management experience.
- Proven ability to achieve budgeted targets.
- Proven ability to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
- Proven ability to achieve specific product sales targets.
- Previous experience in building and maintaining customer satisfaction through the development of broad customer relationships, including senior management contact.
