- Provide leadership across a multi-disciplinary team of over 80 (and growing rapidly) cybersecurity professionals across New Zealand and Australia
- Develop forward-thinking strategies that support Datacom's growth aspirations
- Capitalise on our value proposition and enhance our operational practice and organisational reputation.
- Manage the P/L, budget, headcount, utilisation, quality, and profitability of the Security Operations and Intelligence services
- Build, grow and oversee the Security Operations and Intelligence services team.
- Contribute to selling our services and growing our overall customer portfolio
- Be responsible for ensuring the success of the business through successful delivery of existing products and services to market
- Work with our key cybersecurity vendors and wider Datacom service lines to promote Datacom and develop our solutions and service offerings
- Drive internal and external improvement plans and manage risks on behalf of the Cyber Defence Operation Centre relating to customer delivery, day to day business operations and our processes and systems
- Manage customer relationships and ensure overall success of our customer engagements
- Manage contract compliance deliverables for our customers, to ensure that teams fulfil and understand their role requirements
- Be actively involved in company activities including recruiting, training, performance management, capacity planning, etc
- Resolve project, customer and people issues independently and with minimal escalation to executive-level
- Work with wider Datacom teams, universities, polytechnics, and schools to foster and grow the next line of cybersecurity superstars though our internship and career transformation programs
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity products and services, and how to deliver these via a managed service
- Ability to interact with executives, senior management, and a variety of stakeholders to align expectations and promote our services
- A strong commercial acumen with entrepreneurial character and drive
- Leadership, mentoring and reporting capabilities
- Strong influencing and persuasive ability
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams and gain the cooperation of others
- Familiarity with the business values, objectives, and organisation of cybersecurity products and offerings, and be able to present to senior stakeholders internally and externally as required
