Finance Operations Manager
  • As New Zealand Financial Controller, provide strategic direction and leadership to the global Finance function, collaborating with Executive Teams and Subsidiary Boards to identify and implement long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CFO, Director/Head of Finance Operations, and wider Finance Leadership team to identify and implement processes, policies, and systems in alignment with local legislation and best practice.
  • Strengthen the technical and professional capabilities of the finance team through development initiatives, implement financial controls, and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analysis.

Additionally, in the role of New Zealand Finance Controller, they will serve as an integral member of a centralized finance function. The business partnering aspects of the role will deliver financial analysis, insights, and recommendations for business decision-making, as well as drive key transformation initiatives around people, processes, and systems. Establishing positive partnering relationships cross-functionally will strengthen opportunities to add value by asking questions, testing thinking, and sharing insights, intelligence, and ideas, always through a continuous improvement lens.Furthermore, the Finance Operations Manager will oversee financial control aspects, including providing accounting advice, ownership of the preparation and delivery of financial and board reporting, participation in business planning/forecasting, and managing external audit engagements. This multifaceted role requires a strong focus on ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and managing legislative changes effectively to support successful execution of finance operations.
