The Pathways Health and Wellbeing team helps people experiencing mental health challenges to develop goals and skills to manage their wellbeing through healthy lifestyle choices.We understand that everyone has different needs, so we tailor journeys to physical and mental wellbeing through personalised and responsive one-on-one support and regular engagement in group events and activities.Wellbeing areas we focus on are physical health, being active, eating well, connecting with peers, whanau and community, exploring spirituality and working well. Everyone in the team is incredibly passionate about supporting people to live their best lives through tailored diet, nutrition and lifestyle programmes.As a Support Worker in the Health and Wellbeing Team you will have opportunities to support tāngata whaiora and kaimahi across the region, planning and facilitating regional events, supporting our Housing and Recovery services with group activities and will manage a one-on-one caseload.This is a full-time position. You will be working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Based in Manukau, Auckland.You | Mōu
- Current NZ full drivers' licence
- Current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
- Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent and have experience as a support worker.
- Experience and passion working with Te Ao Maori
- Strong knowledge of the Auckland Health and Social Services sectors
- Resilient and compassionate about supporting people in their local community.
- Effective communication and rapport-building skills
- Able to work autonomously.
- Great documentation skills
- Tech savvy
