The Specialist Anaesthetist will become the eighth team member and contribute to the anaesthesia and pain management services and education of junior doctors.Responsibilities
- Contribute your anaesthesia expertise in a secondary care hospital setting.
- Participate in the 1:8 Anaesthetics on-call after hour’s roster for emergency department and obstetric needs.
- Handle daytime acute and elective theatres, pre-anaesthetic check clinics, and acute anaesthetist duties.
- Support and provide guidance to junior medical workforce during ED or medical rotations.
- Hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), or equivalent.
- Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational registration of Anaesthesia with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Competitive salary. NZD $ 200,000 - 400,000 PA
