Our client is looking for experienced, compassionate ECE manager's to join their beautiful purpose built centre's in South Auckland.These centre's has a Christian approach to learning, and promotes inclusivity with the diverse local whanau and delivers a well thought out curriculum which links well to Te Whariki. Currently, there are three sister centres located close by one another and are operated by a charitable trust supporting the local community.As a Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre. You will be supported daily by an operational manager and general manager who will help guide you with policies and procedures, recruitment and resources for your centre.Our client is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and offer extended pay parity pay rates to their dedicated team members.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our team of educators, creating a collaborative and supportive work culture.
  • Curriculum Development: Work with educators to develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community.
  • Compliance: Ensure the centre operates in compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a recognised qualification in Primary.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum.
