Job Description:As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will oversee a range of real estate projects (such as, acquiring, disposing, and leasing Church assets). You will lead multiple projects in a variety of locations within the assigned geography and use the resources of local real estate contractors and agents and follow approved processes established by policy and legal counsel. The Real Estate Project Manager will ensure department objectives are accomplished within prescribed scope, time frame and using approved resources. The successful person will be required to travel overseas as required.Responsibilities:
  • Experience in people management and leadership
  • The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Experience in contract negotiation and/or project management
  • An understanding of transactional real estate and real estate principles
  • Experience in the construction field, including site identification and analysis, negotiations, contracts, leases, site evaluations, appraisals, environmental site assessments, title report closings and applicable laws
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience working in a related field
  • Professional written and oral communication skills in English and ability to work effectively with priesthood leaders, consultants, government officials and multiple customers and stakeholders
  • IT literate which includes proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and the ability to learn new applications quickly
