Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Simulation Technician is responsible to the Site Manager (or delegate) to perform all preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support in a safe and effective manner, ensuring maximum successful training events are able to be achieved by the end user.This role will be located in Whenuapai, NZ.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carries out all maintenance tasks effectively as directed by Senior Simulation Technician or Site Manager
  • Carries out all maintenance tasks to meet internal and external compliance requirements
  • Assists Senior Simulation Technicians with investigations supporting site based engineering development needs
  • Demonstrates professional, disciplined and safe behaviour in all day to day tasks
Our Ideal Candidate has:
  • Cert IV IN Aeroskills (Avionics) or higher/similar
  • At least 2 years’ experience in aircraft, workshop or simulation support
  • At least 3 years’ experience in simulation support
Note: As the New Zealand Defence Force is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance.What CAE offers you:
