One of our esteemed hospitality clients in Hamilton, renowned for its exceptional service and vibrant atmosphere is currently looking for a Duty Manager to assist the team in Hamilton.Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the restaurant with a strong focus on customer service.
Uphold terms and conditions of premises liquor and gaming licenses.
Train staff on legal obligations regarding alcohol service to maintain the integrity of the company's liquor license.
Foster professional relationships with kitchen and bar staff to optimize business operations.
Train staff in reservation procedures and menu knowledge to enhance customer experience.
Maintain high staff morale and cooperation within the team.
Oversee function bookings and ensure policies are communicated effectively to staff.
Coordinate group bookings and ensure organizational efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness standards and provide feedback to staff as necessary.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work variable shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
