The Doctors Fred ThomasWe have an opportunity for an experienced and friendly Experienced Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse to join the nursing team. We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence and a passion for improving the health of the community.About the roleThe Nurse is expected to be well versed in all aspects of the provision of patient care. Providing one on one advice to patients means that you will need to be friendly, compassionate and pro-active in management of conditions.Alongside us, you will have the chance to bringyour prior knowledge, skills and experience, to provide care for our patients. You will receive GP collegial support, work with skilled experienced nurses and administration team and be supported by our Medical Centre Manager.This role will be taking place at two medical centers - The Doctors Birkenhead & The Doctors Fred Thomas.This is a Permanent Part Time position rostered between 16 - 24 hours per week across 2-3 days from Monday to Friday.Do you have what we are looking for?

A current New Zealand practicing certificate and Post Graduate nursing qualifications.
Prior experience in a medical centre is desirable.
An in-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health care.
Ability to demonstrate advanced clinical nursing practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong rapport with team members.
Confident, friendly and approachable.
You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
Immunization and smear taker certificates is desirable
