Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your focus will be leading the engineering delivery of assigned PLC projects / scope within your remit.Key Responsibilities:

PLC scoping, systems engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning and documentation
Identification of customer needs on-site and translating these into workable solutions
Configuring software, bench testing, FAT, and delivering commissioning packages
Provision of technical direction and support of project team members, including planning / scheduling and quality assurance
Delivery of project engineering requirements within budget, scope, and schedule
Controlling risk and briefing management on these risks
Sales Assistance and the provision of project estimates

Key Experience & Capabilities:

A degree or considerable experience in an electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering field or trade
Expertise in PLC engineering (hardware and software)
A solid understanding of PLC applications, including Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structured Text (ST/STX) programming
Solid understanding of architecture and interfaces between PLC's and SCADA or HMI systems
Communication protocol standards like for example Modbus, BACnet and LonWorks
High exposure to one or more PLC brands (e.g., Honeywell, Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, ABB etc.)
Experience in in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is regarded as an add on bonus
