This beautiful centre is inside the Kelston Mall, conveniently located at the corner of Great North Road and West Coast Road, just 1km away from New Lynn. There are four rooms designed for different age groups with age-appropriate resources, and excellent child : teacher ratios. We base our philosophy on the New Zealand ECE Te Whariki with a strong inspirational influence from the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia and RIE approach. We aim to provide an environment which is inclusive for all cultures and communities, whilst strongly recognising the dual heritage of New Zealand.Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, committed person to lead our well-established and committed team.You will have responsibility over staff management, regulation and policy compliance, customer satisfaction, administrative compliance, business management. You will get ongoing strong support by a carefully developed and documented processes, procedures, and policies from the company Director along with an Area Manager.   • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) or above
  • NZ trained and qualified in NZ Early Childhood Education
  • Current full practicing certificate and first aid certificate
  • Having a good understanding of Te Whariki, and philosophy of Regio Emilia and RIE approach.
  • Familiar with MoE regulations, Licensing Criteria, ERO Review procedures and Funding Auditing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Good computer and math skills for administrative compliance and business management
