The role requires you to draw on your extensive experience in the industry to ensure an evidence based approach using best practice is applied throughout project design and delivery.In this role you will;
Support programme planning and funding applications with concept to design detail.
Maintain strong relationships with service providers, ensuring desired outcomes and value for money.
Build and maintain internal stakeholder relationships to provide high level strategic advice across teams.
Conduct project reviews with a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring outcomes and cost objectives are achieved and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you'll bring;
A degree in Civil Engineering or Traffic Engineering.
10 + years' experience relative to construction, traffic engineering and design.
Knowledge of the Resource Management Act as it relates to construction of roading projects.
A good knowledge of legislative environment regarding engineering practice as it relates to traffic safety and traffic engineering.
Local Authority City and/or District Plans knowledge.
Understanding of traffic modelling and its outputs and how this relates to design inputs and decisions.
