Job Description:Our WhyDatacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people's lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.About the RoleThe role of the Capability Lead is to ensure business and people management responsibilities are met while maintaining a significant customer focused operational utilisation within the Intelligent Workspace Professional Servies team.The role has a 50% team management and service improvement, and 50% customer operations focus.What you'll do (your why)The Capability Lead collaborates with people leaders to identify business needs and expectations, assess current capability gaps, and identify opportunities for enhanced performance. Their goal is to maintain a high-performing delivery standard within the team with an “Automation first” approach. You will have operational oversight and will work in multi-faceted customer environments and be seen as one of the key escalation points for our End User Compute solutions customer environments, focusing on the Microsoft Modern Workplace.This role will require you to help coach and mentor the team, in collaboration with people leaders. You will also actively seek out and apply the latest best practices to find opportunities for improving efficiency and delivering high-quality results.What you'll bring
  • Tertiary qualifications are recommended, postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
  • 5-10 + Years of experience in IT
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience across: Windows 10/11 and M365 (AAD, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams etc)
  • Technical knowledge and skills in SCCM/MECM, Jamf, App packaging, Intune, Autopilot, Desktop Virtualisation and Chrome book admin.
  • Coaching, capability, and mentoring leadership skills
  • Experience in implementing standards consistently across the teams
  • Performance measurement / Reporting
  • Experience forecasting, project, and pipeline reporting.
  • Experience with People and Project Conflict resolution.
