Operations Management:
- Lead the operations team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive accountability for results.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to allocate resources effectively and streamline processes.
- Coordinate building consent applications and review plans for buildability and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage construction programs and timeframes, prioritizing workmanship and quality.
- Conduct thorough reviews of construction plans and contracts to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage learning and development initiatives, and support recruitment efforts.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to forecast workload and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers and onboard new contractors as needed.
- Implement and audit quality assurance procedures to uphold construction standards.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of health and safety excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and investigate and address any incidents promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Respect company and client property and equipment.
- Perform any other relevant duties as instructed by the Regional Manager.
- Proven experience in construction operations management, preferably in the residential sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
