A great opportunity has arisen within our Finance team for a commercially savvy Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Supply Chain Team.Reporting directly to the Finance Manager - Supply Chain, this position collaborates with the senior supply chain leadership team at Woolworths NZ, overseeing financial management across our distribution centres, transport, and third-party logistics operations. This role requires a highly analytical mindset, combining meticulous attention to detail with a keen ability to understand the broader strategic landscape.About the Role | Mō te TūrangaKey to success in this role is your ability to foster relationships within the team and with peers across NZ and AU, coupled with a relentless drive for inquiry. You'll leverage your influence to drive critical business objective outcomes by delivering precise financial insights and skillfully guiding partners towards financial success.The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for:
  • Building strong business partnerships with Distribution Centre teams, Transport Leaders, and 3PL partners.
  • Providing strategic analysis and leadership to the Supply Chain Leadership Team to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Collaborating with teams to quantify and track cost-efficiency and productivity initiatives aimed at enhancing financial efficiency.
  • Guiding and developing the Finance Analyst - Supply Chain.
  • Overseeing governance for the entire Supply Chain P&L, including monthly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles.
  • Ensuring accurate recording and management of financial transactions and operational data, and advancing existing reporting onto shared platforms with Australia.
About You | Mōu
You are an experienced, ambitious and driven Commercial/Finance Analyst (CPA/CA qualified/or working towards) with experience in project reporting, modelling and CAPEX. You would have ideally had some exposure to Supply Chain but even more importantly will be your strong experience with WIP and Project reporting on scale. You may be coming from a construction, property development or similar industry where your role has been focused on major projects.
