Have a look at our other great benefits here! The Opportunity?| Te kowhiringaAs the Yard Person for our Te Rapa, Hamilton depot, you?ll be responsible for depot maintenance, deliveries, and storage. Day-to-day tasks will include: Assisting in the management of specific small plant items and ensuring compliance with the depot management plan. ? Receive, accept, unload materials, and dispatch materials to projects (includes the handling and storage of dangerous goods) General maintenance and booking in and out of small plant Ensure all plant and equipment are compliant, calibrated and that registers are kept up to date (Slings, chains, measuring wheels, etc.) Organising general maintenance e.g. management of waste bins, depot cleanliness, and clearance of interceptor pits, etc. Ensuring all documentation and costing is in order each step of the way. You will also be responsible for the successful adherence to depot management and emergency plans, which include environmental maintenance of the truck wash-down point and stormwater interceptors. Within the office, you?ll be responsible for the coordination of repairs, maintenance, and receipting of deliveries.
